The USB I/O board is directly compatible with Tormach's PathPilot and supports all the same 'M' codes as the original. It's available either with or without an extruded aluminium case, depending on how you're planning on mounting it.

The ETS/Probe control model is specially configured to handle some problems frequently encountered with probes and electronic tool setters.
There are a number of wireless probe systems on the market that 'go to sleep' after a few minutes of inactivity (ours doesn't do this). This can cause a problem where PathPilot mistakenly believes the probe must have touched something and will halt a running program.
Our Probe/ETS module goes between your probe and the mill's accessory port (it has 2, 5 pin DIN connectors for this purpose and we supply a 5 pin male to male cable to connect to the mill's accessory port). It gets its power from the mill and when driven by our Fusion360 post-processor, the probe is automatically disconnected when a program is running and the probe is not in use, thereby preventing the error. Any time a probe or ETS function is requested, the device is reconnected automatically.
The module can also be used with an electronic tool setter where it can be used to get round problems of the tool setter being triggered by vibration during heavy cuts.
In addition to the twin 5 pin DIN connectors, this module also has 2 each of the standard module's input and output ports. The first of these is pre-configured to drive a solenoid valve to clean an ETS before use, but it can be re-configured by the user for other I/O functions if this is not required.
